Club Awards and Accomplishments 

Referee Corner

Glenview SC provides assistant referees (linesmen/women) for all home games of U11 and older.  Assistant Referees (ARs) are trained and certified by the Illinois State Referee Committee.  The Illinois Youth Soccer Association (http://www.iysa.org) maintains a website with information on training clinics that all AR's must take annually to remain certified.  The IYSA regulate AR's on a calendar year, and clinics must be taken each winter to certify for the spring and fall season.  To check for upcoming certification clinics, check https://ssl.hammerhead.net/IleReferee/ClinicsDisplaynew2.asp. 

 Glenview SC Assistant Referee needs to be a grade 12 AR or at least a grade 8 Certified Referee.  The Referee Administrator oversees the training and scheduling of the AR's for the spring and fall seasons.  AR's earn $20 per game for U11-U12, $22.50 for U13-U14, and $25 for U15-19 games.  If you are a U12 or older player and are interested in becoming an AR next season, contact Shahram Tousi at (847) 293-4292 or email refereecoordinator@glenviewsoccerclub.com  You can also complete the form below.
