Glenview Soccer Club tryout schedule for the 2008-09 season has been set. All players including current club members must tryout to assure that they are placed on a team of an appropriate skill level. To register your child for tryouts, please complete the following steps. If you have questions, contact us for further information.

1.	Check the IYSA Age Eligibility Chart to determine which age group your child will play in starting this fall.
2.	For each child, complete the online Tryout Pre-Registration form below. This reserves a spot for your child to participate in tryouts.
3.	Determine the appropriate tryout session(s) for your child's age group (see the tryout schedule below).  Players should bring a ball, water, and wear soccer attire including shin guards.
4.	New players need to provide copy of Birth Certificate or proof of age.  Printed registration, medical and media release forms will be provided at tryouts. For your reference these forms are available at General Information.
5.	Check-in 30 minutes prior to the start of your tryout session with club annual membership fee, uniform packet fee, and tryout fee, paid separately to complete registration process. Annual membership for 2008-2009 season is $895 for U8-U11; $995 for U12-U14.  Tryout fee is $30 non-refundable.  Uniform packet is $150 per player.  Each player is required to purchase an official GSC uniform packet consisting of jerseys, shorts, socks, and backpack.
6.	Payment in full is collected at the first day of tryouts.   Separate checks should be made payable to Glenview Soccer Club.  Payment is also accepted using Visa/MC at registration.
7.	Players will not be placed on a team unless paid in full, or a financial aid application along with a deposit has been submitted.  Players requesting to be withdrawn from team selection may do so up to mid-night June 8th by sending an email to registration@glenviewsoccerclub.com.  Once the teams are announced on June 9th, no refunds will be provided.  Refunds will be issued in full minus tryout fee for those players who have withdrawn before June 9th or are not placed on a team.
8.	At the conclusion of tryouts, players selected to join a team will have their tryout number posted online under the applicable age group. Record the player's tryout number for reference on team rosters.
9.	Once a player is selected to join a GSC team, he/she must come to a uniform fitting session on Monday, June 9th or Tuesday, June 10th.   Other club items will also be available for purchase on fitting days.  If you are unable to attend one of the fitting sessions, you must order your uniform package at Soccer Plus in Palatine by June 30th in order to receive uniform before the fall season.
