Glenview Soccer Club / FC-1 Youth Soccer Night

The Glenbrook South girls’ soccer program would like to cordially invite all Glenview Soccer Club / FC-1 soccer players (U14 and under) to Glenview Youth Soccer Night. Teams will be encouraged to attend the varsity match on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 7:00PM, with a 2012 Fall Champions player parade at halftime, and win raffle prizes throughout the night. All soccer players are encouraged to shoot at halftime on the turf field!

The GBS girls’ soccer program will be setting up a table and encouraging suggested donations for the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) and Will Hicks “Will Power” Scholarship Fund. Will was a beloved member of the GBS boys’ soccer program and sadly passed in January of 2010 from a rare form of brain cancer. In the last two years, the GBS girls’ soccer program has raised about $2,000 for the “Will Power” campaign for brain cancer awareness.

Come out to see these two great rivals play, celebrate the Glenview Youth soccer community, and honor the life of Will Hicks on this very special evening.
