Great teamwork, passing, defense and goalkeeping led Glenview Soccer Club's U12 Girls Select team to a Grove United Championship over Memorial Day weekend.

The team beat Crystal Lake Force 2-0 and South Side Fire 2-0 on the way to winning a coin toss against Ela to bypass the semifinal and head straight to the championship game. Glenview beat Ela 5-0 in the championship game.
