On behalf of Glenview Soccer Club, FC-1 Academy, Yasmin & Yurida, THANK YOU everyone for your generosity, thoughts and prayers. Our Presidents Day training and scimmage sessions fundraiser to help long time club member Yasmin Chavez in her fight against cancer raised over $4600.

Yasmin, a current Girls U18 Elite FC-1 Academy forward, and senior at Glenbrook South High School, was diagnosed right before Christmas with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy and other treatments in an effort to kick the cancer into remission.

Yasmin was able to spend a little time at the event and was blown away by all the support and well wishes.
