Glenview Youth Soccer Association is pleased to announce the addition of Issac Moushi to our FC-1 Academy coaching staff.   Issac will assume Director of Coaching responsibilities for our FC-1 Academy program, while Albert Gudmundsson will continue in his current role as Director of Coaching for our Glenview Soccer Club program and Program Coordinator for all Club programs.  The FC-1 Academy program serves our players in U12 through U18 age groups and the Glenview Soccer Club serves our players in U8 through U11 age groups.

Issac was most recently at Team Evanston where he served as the DOC for the last seven years. He was instrumental in building Team Evanston in to a strong North Shore program, and developing some of the top boys teams in the state. In 2012 Isaac coached Team Evanston's U16 boys to the club's first State Cup Championship. Under Issac's leadership Team Evanston was the only club in the state to have 3 or more teams make it to the State Cup semi finals each of the last two years. Additionally, Issac coached their U14 Boys team to win the 2014 Presidents Cup National Championship.

Issac holds a USSF Professional B license. Over the years he has coached and trained with Red, White and Blue FC (a club he started), Barrington Soccer Association, Sockers FC, Lake Forest Soccer Association, Chicago Wind and Trevian Soccer Club/ FC United.  In addition to coaching at the club level, he has been a state coach and evaluator for the Olympic Development Program and a coaching instructor for the IYSA. His extensive resume includes playing at both the college and professional levels.  Our FC-1 program will benefit tremendously from Issac's experience and knowledge.

Additionally, we are happy to report that FC-1 Academy coach Kyle Kurz will assume additional responsibilities as Assistant Director of Coaching.  Kyle will focus on our high school girls program, where he has been successfully coaching for 8 years and also coordinating our popular winter indoor house league.  His current U18 Girls Elite team finished second in the IYSA Premiership League, was ranked in the top ten teams in the state, and competed in college showcase tournaments in Indianapolis and Memphis with an impressive 4-1-1 record.

The tremendous growth and success of our programs over the past several years has created the opportunity to expand our leadership at the DOC level.  We would like to thank you, our parents and players, for your unwavering support of our programs and we look forward to our continued success.

Sincerely,
Glenview Youth Soccer Association
