The GSC U9 girls teams volunteered their time to serve as ball girls for the GBS girls varsity match versus the Matea Valley High School Mustangs.  The game was a set up as a fundraiser event for a new scholarship fund being established in memory of former GBS soccer player Will Hicks. 

The girls got to escort the GBS players on to the field "World Cup" style and participate in a balloon release as part of the pre-game introductions and ceremony.  The girls did a great job chasing down balls and getting them to the players on a windy afternoon.  GBS defeated Matea Valley 7-0.
